ทั้งซิงเกิลและอัลบั้มชุดนี้วางแผงเมื่อปี 2525
สำหรับ Chicago 16 เป็นอัลบั้มชุดแรกของวงที่ David Foster เป็นผู้ควบคุมการผลิตให้ โดยมีซิงเกิลฮิตเบอร์หนึ่ง Hard To Say I'm Sorry เป็นซิงเกิลแรกในอัลบั้มชุดนี้
เป็นผลงานการแต่งเพลงของ Foster ร่วมกับ มือเบส - ร้องนำ Peter Cetera

ติดอันดับ 22 และ 8 บน Billboard Hot 100 และ ฺBillboard Adult Contemporary ตามลำดับ
ส่งในแคนาดา ติดอันดับ 35 และ 2 บน RPM Top Singles และ RPM Adult Contemporary ตามลำดับ

แม้ว่าเพลงนี้จะไม่ดังเท่า Hard To Say I'm Sorry แต่เพลงนี้ก็กระแทกใจผมไปเต็มๆ
และอีกอย่าง "มิวสิกวิดีโอของสองเพลงนี้ ถ่ายทำในวันเดียวกัน"
