เพลงนี้วางแผงในปี 2528
เป็นเพลงประกบละครชุดสืบสวนสอบสวนเรื่องดังของอเมริกา Miami Vice (ชื่อไทยที่ฉายในช่อง 3 สมัยก่อน คือ สิงห์ร้ายไมอามี่ - ฉายในอเมริกาเมื่อปี 2527 - 2533 ทางสถานี NBC)
Frey แต่งเพลงนี้ร่วมกับ Jack Tempchin (ทั้งคู่เคยแต่งเพลงหวานระดับตำนานอย่าง The One You Love เมื่อปี 2525)
ติดอันดับ 2 ทั้ง Billboard Hot 100 (โดยอันดับ 1 ตอนนั้นคือเพลง We Built This City วง Starship เจ้าของเพลงดังเบอร์ 1 ทั้ง 3 เพลงรวด คือ เพลงนั้น, Sara, และ Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now) และ Adult Contemporary
