You wait ages for a London bus...

It's one of the classic english cliches. You wait for hours for a London bus, then 3 come at once. It seems to be a similar thing with English movies in Bangkok.

EGV, Major and the like haven't shown anything good for months. Then along comes Harry Potter, closely followed by Ratatooie.

Now, there are 3 decent English movies out at the moment. Hairspray (cheesey feel-good musical set in the 60s), The Simpsons (movie version of the cartoon series) and the Bourne Ultimatum (who cares about the story when Matt Damon's in it.)

Glad we've got a day off school on Monday. It's the only way I'll get to see them all before they disappear.
