วิธีที่ 1

ชุบไขเพื่อไม่ให้เน่า โดยใช้ไขที่เป็นก้อนสีขาว ตั้งไฟพอละลายแล้วใช้มะนาวที่ล้างสะอาดแล้ว จุ่มเคลือบ วิธีนี้จะเก็บไว้ได้นานเป็นเดือน

วิธีที่ 2


ปอกเปลือกคั้นน้ำ ใส่ถุงพลาสติก หรือขวดแช่แข็ง เมื่อจะใช้ก็นำออกมาปล่อยให้ละลาย ความเปรี้ยวและกลิ่นยังเหมือนเดิม อีกวิธีหนึ่งคือ เมื่อคั้นน้ำแล้วผสมน้ำเชื่อม เกลือเล็กน้อยเก็บไว้เป็นส่วนๆ (คือ 1 ถุง ต่อ 1 แก้ว) เมื่อจะกินก็นำมาปั่นเป็นเครื่องดื่มแก้กระหายได้ดี
