Miss Polonia 2008-2009

WARSAW, Poland - Angelika Jakubowska (19, center) from Lubania, was chosen Miss Polonia 2008 during a ceremony held in Warsaw on September 13th. The 1.76 m beauty will represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant.

The 1st runner-up was Ewa Chelminska (left) from Kędzierzynie-Koźlu, and will represent Poland in Miss Earth; and the 2nd runner-up was Paulina Kwasniewska (right) from Jelenia Góra.

25 contestants competed in the annual event.
