Melisa Aslı Pamuk (20, 2nd left) was crowned Loreal Paris Miss Turkey Universe 2011. The 1.76 m beauty from Istanbul will now represent Turkey in the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in September. Melisa speaks English, German, Dutch, Turkish and French.
Crowned as Miss Turkey World was 18 year old Gizem Karaca. She is 1.70 m tall and will compete in the 61st Miss World contest in London, UK, in November.
Elif Korkmaz was crowned Miss Turkey International, and will go to Miss International; while Merve Saribas was crowned Miss Turkey Earth and will compete in Miss Earth.
For the first time in the history of Miss Turkey, the main winner will attend Miss Universe instead of Miss World. In 2010, Gizem Memic was sent to both pageants because Miss turkey Universe, Serenai Sarikaya, was 17 years old and did not fulfill the age requirements.
