Antonella Kruger (18) from Zárate, was crowned Miss Mundo Argentina 2011 on April 18th, during an event held at the City Center Complex in Rosario. Antonella will represent the country at the 2011 Miss World competition in December.
The runner-ups were Camila Valdes (Salta, 1st) and Rocio Damiano (Santa Fe, 2nd). Former Miss World Silvana Suarez, from Argentina, was the president of the jury. She won the international crown in 1978.
The last time Argentina had a semi-finalist in Miss World was in 1987 (top 6 finalist).
