Miss World Mexico 2013
After the whole controversy surrounding the participation of Mexico in Miss World 2012 (after placing 2nd going into the top 15, Miss Mexico failed to advance to the Top 7), and even rumors that Mexico would not send a representative to Miss World 2013, Miss World Mexico 2013 was crowned during the presentation show for Nuestra Belleza Mexico (Miss Mexico Universe) 2013.
The winner is 18-year-old Marilyn Chagoya Triana, Miss Veracruz.
All other candidates remain in the competition for the title Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2013, to represent Mexico in Miss Universe 2013. The final event, organized by Lupita Jones and Televisa, will be aired on Friday, August 31.
