Miss Earth Greece 2008
Athens, GREECE - Model Ria Antoniou was confirmed as the Greek representative in Miss Earth 2008. Ria was a favorite in the 2008 Miss Greece pageant, but failed to be crowned Miss Greece Universe or World.
She will now get ready to compete in the Philippines. Miss Earth's final event will happen on November 9.

Miss Togo 2008
Lomé, TOGO - The 14th edition of the Miss Togo beauty pageant took place last Saturday night at the Palais des Congrès in Lomé. The winner was Aïcha Pamela Fofana, 18, 1.71 m-tall.
The 1st runner-up was Winnie Séna Alovor, and the 2nd runner-up was Huguette Elie Zinsou.
It is unknown if the new Miss Togo will compete internationally. Togo used to participate in the Miss International pageant until the year 2000. In 2006 Miss Togo was crowned the first "Miss World Cup", in an event held in Germany.

Mister Gay Brazil 2008
São Paulo, BRAZIL - Marcos Grabowski, Mr. Gay Goiânia, won the title of Mr. Gay Brazil 2008, held at the Auditório Elis Regina, in São Paulo. The 1st runner-up was Felix Gomes, Mr. Gay Rio de Janeiro, and the 2nd runner-up was Maicon Araújo, Mr. Gay Florianópolis, also chosen as Mr. Photogenic.
21-year-old Marcos Grabowski will now get ready to represent Brazil at the II Mr. Gay International, in February of 2009. The event will take place in Los Angeles, USA.
The show was hosted by TV presenter Leão Lobo and had among a celebrity-panel of judges talented fashion designer Rogério Figueiredo, and Miss World Brazil 2008, Tamara Almeida.
In the final stage of the competition, Tamara Almeida got to ask the eventual winner what his beauty secret was, to which he responded: "My God, shouldn't I be asking you that?? You are stunning!". Grabowski got an standing ovation, and probably, Miss Brazil's vote!

Miss Earth Brazil 2008
Divinópolis, BRAZIL - Tatiane Alves, Miss Minas Gerais Universe 2005, and Miss Brazil Universe's 4th runner-up that year, was announced as Miss Earth Brazil 2008 during the election of Miss Minas Gerais Universe 2009, which took place in the city of Divinópolis las Saturday night.
Tatiane was hand-picked by the pageant's new organizers, who also have the Universe franchise in the state of Minas Gerais. Beleza Brasil, or Miss Earth Brazil 2009, will take place in November, in Belo Horizontes, Minas Gerais state.
