สัญญา 10 (ความกำหนดหมาย, แนวความคิดความเข้าใจ สำหรับใช้กำหนดพิจารณาในการเจริญกรรมฐาน — perception; contemplation; ideas as objects of meditation)
       1. อนิจจสัญญา (กำหนดหมายความไม่เที่ยงแห่งสังขาร — contemplation on impermanency)
       2. อนัตตสัญญา (กำหนดหมายความเป็นอนัตตาแห่งธรรมทั้งปวง -- contemplation on impersonality)
       3. อสุภสัญญา (กำหนดหมายความไม่งามแห่งกาย — contemplation on foulness or loathsomeness)
       4. อาทีนวสัญญา (กำหนดหมายโทษทุกข์ของกายอันมีความเจ็บไข้ต่างๆ — contemplation on the disadvantages of the body)
       5. ปหานสัญญา (กำหนดหมายเพื่อละอกุศลวิตกและบาปธรรมทั้งหลาย -- contemplation on abandonment or overcoming)
       6. วิราคสัญญา (กำหนดหมายวิราคะว่าเป็นธรรมละเอียดประณีต — contemplation on detachment)
       7. นิโรธสัญญา (กำหนดหมายนิโรธว่าเป็นธรรมละเอียดประณีต — contemplation on cessation)
       8. สัพพโลเก อนภิรตสัญญา (กำหนดหมายความไม่น่าเพลิดเพลินในโลกทั้งปวง — contemplation on the non-delightfulness of the whole world)
       9. สัพพสังขาเรสุ อนิฏฐสัญญา (กำหนดหมายความไม่น่าปรารถนาในสังขารทั้งปวง — contemplation on the non-pleasantness of the whole world)
       10. อานาปานสติ (สติกำหนดลมหายใจเข้าออก — mindfulness of in- and out-breathing)
