Shifting the spotlight from Luis Suárez takes some doing but Cardiff City's ridiculous owner Vincent Tan has achieved it with his "resign or be sacked" email to Malky Mackay. Tan is expected at Anfield, as is Cardiff's appallingly-treated manager, and will no doubt be incensed if a Liverpool team that can go top of the Premier League are not played off the park by his newly-promoted side. Suárez has scored 11 goals in his last four appearances at Anfield. Tan will probably demand a similar impact from Peter Odemwingie. Andy Hunter
