Hong Kong - Day 3
This day is an adventurous day of us. In the morning, we went (in rush) to Lo wu by KCR train in order to cross the border to visit the main land China. However, there were some technical problem at the gate so we have to changed our plan and decided to come back to only travel within Hong Kong. So, we stoped by Sha Tin along the way and visit the ten thousand buddha temple.
I was impressed by the multi-escalators up-hill to almost the top of the mountain. Hong Kong is really rich! Then, we have to walked up a bit and admire the view of Sha Tin (which seems to be expanding and will surely be one of the big area in Hong Kong in the future, IMHO).
Our next destination is... of course... "Snoopy World". Actually, the place is pretty small (just a children playground area in the department store with some fun machines) but it was decorated so nicely. We were pretty tired and the sun is really extremely hot so we only walk there shortly and went back.
Then, we come back to Hong Kong Island in order to visit the Western Market, Hollywood Road and went to visit a small but beautiful Man Mo Temple. We were ran out of energy a bit and come back to the Main station to wait for Jason (Aun+'s Hong Kong friend). While waiting, we saw one look-yummy snack and baught it (Snowy moon cake). It was... extremely delicious! I have never tried any snack as good as this before so we keep buying more and more...
Then, Jason came and brought us to the yummy/traditional food area. Yes, it's the timesquare building where there were a lot of food up in the building. We walked through many floor for investigation and finally decided to stop at the seafoodparadise restaurent (quite famous for their original food). Anyway, prior to that Jason kindly bought a yummy Siew-Long-Pao (เสี่ยวหลงเปา) from another restaurent because Aun+ told me that it is very good and they kindly want me to try. It was so surprise that the waitress don't mind that we brought the other's food along and kindly help us serve it along with the food we ordered (wow).
After that, Jason kindly showed us around the Causeway Bay area (shopping area) but we haven't done any shopping because there are many things to look around. We walked until the Victoria park and decided to go back (to Jason's place). We met Jason's parents and brother who welcome us very very well. It was a very nice memory of my travel that I surely cannot forget.
