On day 2, we went to many places. The first place that we tried to visit is a Guan Yin Monument close to the repulse bay area. To go there we took the underground to Central station and continue with 6X bus. The bus driver was very helpful because we were pretty unsure which station should we departed and he kindly told me that it should be the beach.
When we reach there we could not find the monument yet but tried to guess and finally we found it. The place we crowded with a number of tourist who came to warship since there were many sacre monuments in this place as well.
It took us half a day in order to go there and come back to Mok Kok area for lunch and join with Nong^ Pong^ (we planed to go to the Polin Monastery with him). However, unfortunately, we missed the good-time ship so we decided to travel around the Kowloon side. So, our next destination is Chi Lin Nunnary.
The place is really extremely beautiful and I would like to recommend. What I impressed on it is the fact that the whole building were build without using any nails and in an integrity style. People at the shop upstair there are so nice. We asked them many questions about the place's history and didn't buy anything but they were still very helpful and kind.
Our next destination is "Wang Tai Sin" temple. There we a lot of local people came to warship here. We were interested to do so as well but we have not got sufficient knowledge to do so. This is the last place that we travel with nong^ Pong^ and here is my photo with him:
After that, we went to Hong Kong Island by the star ferry. It was a really great memory to travel by it and I really want to recommend it to you. Once we arrived we walked to experience the mid-level escalator (longest in the world ~750 m) that brought us uphill and made us get lost a bit.
Anyhow, finally we could find the right track and continued our jorney to the "Peak Tram" in order to go to the peak and see the whole Hong Kong at night (we tried to reach it while they played the symphony of light) but could not made it (only see the synphony of light from the tram/ not from the top of the peak). Anyhow, it was a good moment being there though.
