I have to know about this "CRM" concept because it is about marketing.

CRM is very interesting. do you know about Business Intelligence(BI) .. I think this is cool,too.

I think it doesn't matter much whether the product is new to you or not. When you get a new account, IMHO, everything is in a learning process. This is maybe because you don't know how or what kind of this client will be like.

So .. you are a PR consultant...what are the tasks you are responsible for? Does it include media planning, image building and so forth..?

You are lacking of your confidence because of lacking of ideas/knowledge about your current products, right?

There are several ways to hurdle this task... It's your call... But, if I were you as a consultant, I would find another consultant, a technocrat, who could give me technical details about weaknesses and strengths of those products to me in simple plain explanations.

Then I would use my expertise in public relation to strengthen those strengths and avoid mentioning those weaknesses.

I'm not suggesting you to study by your own in this case because you have time constraints... It might be too optimistic to learn everything you're not familiar with by your own all the times.

Go out jogging, it might clear your troubling mind somehow.

จนคิดว่าชีวิตนี้คงไปทำอาชีพอื่นไม่ได้แล้ว

แล้ววันหนึ่ง ..
ขณะที่นั่งอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์ แล้วน้ำตาก็ไหล

ตอนนี้ลาออกมาได้เกือบ 2 ปีแล้ว
คิดถึง "หนังสือพิมพ์" แล้วน้ำตาก็ไหล (เหมือนกัน)

อะไรจะมีความสุขเท่า
ได้อยู่กับคนที่รัก
ได้ทำในสิ่งที่ชอบ

As a PR consultant, my area is not go to media planning ka. As I know, media planning is related to advertisement. As long as we have to play money to media,it will not in PR area ka. This is in what I define PR in my job ka. But as I have ever read some magazine,other people will define differently, probably.

I have a friend working for media planning. He have to plan to buy media from TV , radio, magazine to put advertisement. Or there is many type of advertisement that we call tie-in program> such as let actress pay something about our product indirectly or directly...

but for me as a PR consultant, I have to find a way to make media interest in our product and would like to say/write/interview about our product/service without paying them money ka.

So sometimes you may see many company arrange many big/innitiative event to attract media to join ka. Although we do not have to pay to media but we pay for organizer.

Yes, PR is to build image ka. Sometimes you may see that many company do community activities. > it is help to create good image for that company, media will think positive about the company and write good thing.

As a PR consultant I have to give a recommendation to them counselling, which area that will be interested by media. without knowing its product, competitors and the movement of that industry,we will encouter the hardtime to give comment to them.

- yes, we have plan PR activities.. and continue doing it to sustain momentum to media. So they don't feel that we disappear.

-Try to find good channel, good TV program , good column that wud match to our product or maybe M.D/Product manager lifestlye...

- monitor news to customers, so they know what going on in competitors.. or what issue that media give an important to.
