เพลงนี้เป็นเพลงหนึ่งที่David Fosterเลือกสรรมาเป็นหนึ่งในอัลบั้มที่ทางWEAขอให้David Fosterออกอัลบั้มเพื่อออกจำหน่ายในทางเอเซียในปี1996...A Touch of David Foster...ผมเชื่อว่าDavid Fosterเองก็คงต้องบรรจงเลือกเพลงที่เขาอยากให้คนทางเอเซียได้รู้จักเขามากขึ้น เขาเขียนเพลง แต่งทำนองเพลงและร้องเพลงตั้งมากมาย คงไม่ง่ายที่จะเลือกเพลงออกมา เพลงที่เลือกต้องเป็นประเภทหัวกะทิแน่ๆ....สำหรับลุงJames Ingramนั้นก็เป็นนักร้องเพลงที่เสียงออกทุ้มๆนุ่มๆ ...สำหรับเพลง Whatever We Imagine นั้นก็คงเข้าทำนองการที่ผู้ชายคนหนึ่งได้ร้องขอให้ผู้หญิงเปิดใจเปิดโอกาสให้เขาได้เข้ามาในชีวิตเธอบ้าง อย่ามัวแต่ตั้งกำแพงกั้นเขาเลย อย่ากลัวที่ต้องรู้จักเขาเลย เขายอมที่พบกันครึ่งทางระหว่างเขากับเธอก็ได้.....จริงๆเพลงนี้ผมยังเคยคิดเลยว่าอยากส่งไปให้เธอคนพิเศษที่ผมแอบมองไว้ด้วย...แต่ก็ไม่ได้ส่งสักที และก็ไม่รู้ว่าเมื่อไหร่จะมีโอกาสนั้น
