ประกาศเมื่อวันเสาร์ว่า ภาพที่มีขนาดคุณภาพระดับสูง (high-res)
จำนวนมากกว่า 400,000 ภาพที่ทางพิพิธภัณฑ์ได้รวบรวมไว้
สามารถดาวน์โหลดได้อย่างไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย
และสามารถใช้งานไม่ใช่เพื่อการพาณิชย์
ใน Facebook, Tumblr และ blogs ส่วนตัวได้

Ann Bailis ประชาสัมพันธ์สตรีของพิพิธภัณฑ์แถลงข่าวว่า
สำเนาภาพได้แชร์ไว้บนออนไลน์แล้ว
