ปี 2012 เป็นปีที่มีเหตุการณ์สำคัญเกิดขึ้นทั่วโลกหลายด้าน ทั้งมหันตภัยไต้ฝุ่น เฮอร์ริเคน ทอร์นาโด น้ำท่วม น้ำแล้ง ไฟป่า ภูเขาไฟระเบิด แผ่นดินไหว หิมะถล่ม ซึ่งล้วนแล้วแต่รุนแรงระดับเดียวกับเหตุการณ์น้ำท่วมเมืองไทยเมื่อปีกลาย ปีนี้มีเหตุการณ์เปลี่ยนแปลงทางการเมืองเกิดขึ้นในหลายประเทศ มีการเลือกตั้งประธานาธิบดีสหรัฐอเมริกา เลือกตั้งประธานาธิบดีรัสเซีย มีการเปลี่ยนตัวผู้นำในหลายประเทศ มีการสไตรค์ เดินขบวน หยิบอาวุธขึ้นประหัตประหารกัน ยิ่งกว่านั้นยังมีเหตุการณ์การแข่งขันกีฬาระดับโลกคือโอลิมปิกที่ยิ่งใหญ่อลังการ นักกีฬาทำลายสถิติเป็นว่าเล่น .. รูปภาพสวยๆ ที่มีการเผยแพร่ในเว็บทั่วไปมีจำนวนนับล้าน ๆ รูป วันนี้ จขบ. ขอคัดเลือกรูปภาพจำนวน 80 รูป เป็นรูปภาพที่ไม่มีเลือดนองพื้นถนน และเป็นรูปภาพของเหตุการณ์ที่ทุกท่านอาจจะคุ้นเรื่องราวอยู่บ้าง มานำเสนอ .. เป็นรูปภาพที่ จขบ.นำมาจาก เว็บ theatlantic.com ถ่ายภาพโดยช่างภาพมืออาชีพ (มีชื่อเจ้าของภาพอยู่ที่ข้อความอธิบายภาพ) นับเป็นรูปภาพเด่น ประจำปี 2012 ที่ จขบ.ขอบันทึกเป็นประวัติศาสตร์ในบล็อกนี้ไว้ และขอขอบคุณ เจ้าของรูปภาพทุกท่าน ไว้ ณ โอกาสนี้
2012 was an eventful year, from big events like the London Summer Olympics and the U.S. presidential race, to regional conflicts in the Middle East and Africa, to smaller issues closer to home. Reverberations from last year's transformative Arab Spring still heavily affect Syria and Egypt; and the slow recovery from the recent global economic crisis brought bitter austerity measures to parts of Europe, leading to widespread protests.
