. . . I usually write the Summer blog at least an entry a year (it should be 10 along with climate like this :P). This year is the same, I prepare a song which directly belongs to Summer >_<
. . . Sayonara no Natsu (Summer of Goodbye) is the ending theme of From Up on Poppy Hill, a movie which released in Thailand last summer (Apr, 2012). I liked it so much that watched it 3 times.
. . . Many Thai people (who were already watched movie) said they liked this song. Of course, we couldn't speak Japanese, so I intently translate lyrics to Thai language. Wish you guys getting more impressive the meaning of this song.
. . . The full version of this song (Im showing in this entry) is 5.30 mins long, Although the Studio Ghibli movie version is cut 1 verse to be 4 mins left, the overall theme isn't be change!
. . . The original was the soundtrack of a Japanese TV drama sung by Ryoko Moriyama in 1976. Mr. Hayao Miyazaki was touched this song for a long time, so it's adopt to be theme of Studio Ghibli movie in 2011.
. . . The story of movie isn't the original, also. It was adopt from the same title manga Kokurikozaka kara in 1980. I'll show you some pictures to be the illustration of the theme song, enjoy!
Excuse : I adjusted some words (a little) for some reasons appropriately. ^^

[ce-01] The Original and the Rendered pictures
. . . This is the theme song Summer of Goodbye (Sayonara no Natsu). How do you feel about it? IMO, the melody was so melancholic, after I understood the meaning of lyric, I felt profoundly melancholy! @_@
. . . A woman recalls her love who was separated from her in a summer every time when summer returns... This is a reason why I painted blue color in the pictures represented Im feeling blue.
. . . On the other hands, the blue is not always being bad and Sayonara doesnt mean the end of the world. If you have someone you really want to meet, dont give up. As long as theres life, there is hope.

. . . I dont know the story of Drama TV series (which have Sayonara no Natsu, the theme song) because Ive never watch it. But Im sure that From Up on Poppy Hill isnt a full-tragic story (although there are some scenes made me sob! @_@)
. . . From the beginning to the end, Umi raises the lucky flags wising her father returns home one day. Certainly, its not an action of saying goodbye. but its a signal that shes still waiting for good thing coming to her family.
. . . เนื้อหาละครที่มี Sayonara no Natsu เป็นเพลงประกอบเป็นอย่างไรไม่ทราบครับ เพราะผมไม่เคยดูเหมือนกัน แต่สำหรับภาพยนตร์ From Up on Poppy Hill ไม่เศร้าขนาดนั้นครับ (ถึงแม้จะมีบางซีนที่ทำให้น้ำตาไหลก็ตาม @_@)
