Space, Time, Life and Society II: Living Together In An Evolutionary Context

There are a number of comparable metaphors from science to life and vice versa.

I am a scientist. Therefore, I believe in the Evolunary Theory earlier conceived by Charles Darwin.

After gaining his reputation from the groundbreaking theory of how space and time can play a role in driving species into changes that can sustain into younger generation across time, there was someone bringing an exotic flower indigenous in a part of Africa (if I am not mistaken) for him....

The flower is white and lilly-like.... But the stigma is exceptionally long and curly like multi-circle labyrinth... This was Darwin's remark on this particular flower/species, "To strive and prosper in the area, there should be another fauna species with an exceptionally strange organ like the shape of the flower's stigma."

Years later, after Darwin's death, a new species of nocturnal moth was discovered in the same area where the flowers were thriving. The beak of this nighttime moth was multi-circle labyrinth just like the stigma of the flower....

This co-evolution story impresses me greatly, not only in an evolutionary context but also in a way how lives can be together in a symbiosis, peaceful manner.

As a matter of the salient fact, both of these two species rely on each other long enough to entrust each other and fully commit at their genetic levels to guide their younger generation to shape their morphology that can serve each other until a death of one species does it part.

What you can learn from this story may be far more than what I could, I really wish that.

Space, time, life and society can live harmoniously in such manner... Look at these beautiful two species, they can exist because of another and their individual commitment at their genetic, molecular levels.

Lovely?

It's much more than that; it's touching into my humanity, knowing and perceiving how minuscule I have done and be...

What a shame that I cannot share this earlier.

hello I'm glad to see your blog again. About last month I came to your blog but it seems that you may not write this blog again.

I'm a sophomore student and want to practice my writing but I am not good at writing extremely. When I learn writing subject in the university , I always can't write essay from the topic in the exam or homework.

Could you give me some advises to practice my writing ? In fact, I want to write in blog but I have not blog and doesn't know how to register it.
Do I have to pay money for the blog ?

Dear Mini:

Since I am not a linguist, thus, you may not be able to take my "advice" too seriously, anyway, for me, writing is a kind of story tellings. I got a story to tell in a written form and I want to express my idea and opinion, so I do it.

In addition, writing can, in some ways, immortalize myself. It freezes a story, preserves it over time and others can come to appreciate or learn about what I'd thought later on, even myself.

This is where it starts, having a story to tell.... It's an inner need, if you have it you can do it forever... It's like a kind of love or passion, you have to live with it, like having breakfast, lunch and dinner.... It can sustain you like foods. :)

If you have this, there is nothing to worry about... just keep practicing it and you will know how to cook it best. :)

Thank you and please take care.

Mr. AT

=================================
Note: My life has been intertwined with works and many others. New responsibility has emerged, resulting less and less time for my ordinary life. Although, a love to write is still intact... But having less time is related to having less imagination.... Therefore, I could not come up with new writings for quite some times.

It might be a good time for me to leave this forum for moment.... Please take it as Mr. A.T. is having a sabbactatical leave or something like that....

As noted above, my love to write is still the same... and will not be changed. Sometimes somehow, I hope I could come back and give some thoughts in this blog once more.

Cheers,
Mr. A.T.

Hello,

My pen-name in Pantip is amatuer translator. Actually, I'm a lousy translator with lame translation. My pen-name is somewhat misleading, I have no background in linguistics what-so-ever. Anyway I love to read, write and communicate with people...

Reading is my most favorite hobby. I read everything from shopping bags to articles in theoretical physics. I do research and teaching for my living. So, reading, writing, thinking and doing research works are my everyday routine.

I would like to define myself as a person who is accepting new ideas and adopting those into my way of life.

I believe in power of knowledge/education. I think every society can be a better society with knowledge. Ignorance can be dispelled by it. Humanity can live sustainably and harmoniously with each other along with its biosphere with understandings in the nature surrounding it.

Apart from my philosophical thoughts reflecting who I am, I can tell you something I like or love in particular;

I love dogs.... Particularly, labradore retrievers.... One day, I would like to spend my time and life with them as a big part of my family.

Zhuge Liang is my hero. With his wisdom and faithfulness, he led a tiny army to a mighty and formidable kingdom. He left his humble residence with a hope to come back. But, sadly, he had never returned and died far far away from home in a horse carriage in a battle field. If I could choose where I would, I would say where-ever my lovely wife was nearby.

I value happiness and my family as my first priority. My profession and my philosophy come in the second. Pursuit in wealth has never been in my desire.

I'm glad to be your friend, and look forward to seeing you around krub.

Best wishes,
A.T.
