Job Capsule: Under general supervision, assist in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on Logging and Perforating surface and downhole equipment. Trains directly under a Principal or Senior Technical Professional - Maintenance L&P, to gain knowledge of logging equipment and tools, in preparation for formal Maintenance School training.Requires familiarization with Surface Systems and open and cased hole tools, PM I and Lab testing equipment. Expected to attend to several field jobs as part of his pre and post school training. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Requirement:
● Thai National
● Bachelors degree or higher in Electronics, Mechatronic Engineering
● 0 -2 years of experience in Maintenance field
● Good English Communication Skill
● Working knowledge of MS Suit, including Outlook, Excel, Word and SAP

Technician
Qualifications :-

Knowledgeable in Instrumentation & Control System such as;
Gas Turbine & Compressor, Turbo Expander, Hydraulic/Steam Turbine, Pump, Drums/Vessels, Package Equipment, etc.
Knowledgeable in mechanical equipment such as;
Process & Utility Pumps eg. Hot oil, LPG Transfer, Booster, Metering pumps, Diesel
pumps,etc.
Competent in understanding and reading/interpretation of the technical drawings (PID, etc.).

We are currently recruiting for Workforce Training Program #6 vacancy on behalf of one of the major oil and gas operating companies.

Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. ("CTEP") will organize the eight-month training program at Settapat Center, Songkhla, naming Workforce Training Program No. 6, from August 2011 - March 2012 The objective of this program is to select, train and develop 45 young technicians in a way that they become competent offshore multi-skill workforce to work and support our operations in the Gulf of Thailand.
Condition: Contractor under Fircroft
Compensation & benefits provided to trainees includes:
Per diem = 200 baht/day
Scholarship = 7,000 baht/month
Accommodation = 1,500 baht/month
Insurance - Life
Insurance Health
After 8-month period, the candidates who complete the program will be hired to work for CTEP Offshore Operations as HOL contractor (technician) through Fircroft.
Candidate Qualifications:
Thai National, Male, Aged 20 to 28 (as of May 11th, 2011)
Good health and normal vision (wearing glasses is acceptable but not colour blindness)
Higher vocational school graduate in following areas with a GPA of 2.5 or above
Mechanical Power, Electronics, Electrical Power, Instrumentation, Industrial Machinery
Good command in English
Exempt from military service

Job Capsule:
Under general supervision, performs maintenance on down-hole tool electronics and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools. Areas of specialization may include: electronics aptitude, computer skills, surface equipment, and down-hole tools. Performs maintenance, calibrations and inspection on downhole electronical equipment. Assembles and disassembles down-hole tools. Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization. Error is readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected. Skills are typically acquired through an Associates degree or similar education and 6-12 months experience as a Downhole Mechanical Tech I or equivalent tool technician training or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Basic computer skills are required. Given the nature of oil field service work, the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary. The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process.
