Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Associate Technologist,FE located in Bangkok, Thailand through Mar 7, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. (EST).
Position Details: The FE Technologist position acts in support of FE team members. The successful candidate will be a part of the asset team to support FE related projects i.e data analysis, management of change owner, misc. field work request planning and execution.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Work as the package engineer/owner on various Management of Change (MOC) packages and misc modification of offshore top side facilities.
Plan and executed assigned Field Work Request (FWR) as per the direction from FE TL or FS.
Support engineering and procurement work for Enhance Oil Recovery units i.e multiphase pumps, booster compressor, electrical submersible pumps.
Support FE engineering team in closing out the HAZOP and iHAZID recommendations.
Participate in Chevron Safety meetings/campaigns.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering i.e. Chemical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
Has 5-6 years background in oil and gas industries. Having experience in offshore operations would be a plus.
Good attitude and willing to work on new challenge roles and responsibilities.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Good skills in MS Office software (Work, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project).
Able to communicate in English. Good command in technical English writing. The day-to-day business writing is in English language.

Driller/Assistant Driller
Job Description:
Responsible for operate and monitor the progress of drilling operations & the crew.
Provide guidance for all activities including training of crew members and ensure that crew work safely and efficiently.
Repair and maintenance machines and keep them in good condition and determines when equipment or parts need changing.
Ensure that the proper drilling equipment with all its accessories is fully tested and spares are prepared in accordance with the project requirements.
Ensure that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained throughout the operation including mobilization and backload of equipment.
Provide safe work and avoid unsafe behaviors.
Perform duties as assigned from management.
To work primarily at offshore and land based well site locations and on occasions at the employer and client facilities.
Qualification:
Minimum High School Diploma or higher in any related field
At least 2 years experience as a driller/assistant driller
Able to communication basic English
Enjoying for working as team
Reliable and adaptable

Job Description
Purpose and Scope:
The Purpose and Scope of the Sales Engineer is, but not limited to:
To increase the penetration of customer spend primarily within the drill bit product line and secondly the legacy downhole tool product line:
Communicate the current and future DHT objectives and technological initiatives clearly within the customer organization at all levels;
To manage opportunities and technical issues across the entire range of DHT solutions with focus on drill bits;
To establish market drivers and technology needs of the market and disseminate back into the DHT organization;
Establish a relationship with strategic customers and become the focal person and advocate between product line management, manufacturing and sales;
Identify opportunities for organic and acquisitive growth within the area (i.e. entry to market, acquisition, and technology opportunities)
To maintain and build integrity in the DHT pricing strategies to ensure maximum profitability and growth for DHT and customers;
Become an integral part and valuable member of the Thailand operations team.
Qualifications required:
Communicate and work with the operations team to ensure that there is a clear understanding of the customers plans and activities;
Participate in regular meetings with the operations team to ensure clarity around goals, issues, and opportunities.
To work with the Thailand operations team in building strategies to produce results and generate revenue around all DHT product solutions concentrating on drill bits especially.
Conduct quarterly reviews with the country manager to ensure strict focus on opportunities, issues, product development, action items, and personal development.
Organizational Relationships:
The Sales Engineer works closely with the country manager and operation team to:
Communicate opportunities for organic and acquisitive growth;
Communicate the product and technology needs and key initiatives of the client base into the organization
Requirements:
Male/Female, Thai Nationality.
Bachelors degree in Engineering or relevant field.
Minimum of 2 - 4 years experience, preferably sales within oil and gas industry.
Alternatively, minimum of 2 - 4 years field experience within oil and gas industry.
Working experience in Multi-National Company is preferred.
Proactive, self-starter with positive attitude and service-minded.
Ability to work well with minimal supervision and can work under pressure.
Skills required:
Must have a good command of both written and spoken English
Comprehensive knowledge of drill bits and drilling tools (Motors, Jars, BHA, Fishing tools, completion products, etc)
Good interpersonal skills, compromising and problem-solving skill is required.
