I have previously written about imprint. I guess my imprint the last few years has been trying to find relationships which was not only physically satisfying but was satisfying to the soul level. I did not realize that what I was feeling was not the same for the other person and try as I might to make things work it did not work because the motivation was wrong, wrong, WRONG. This also means a lot of whys and why nots that I had to resolve in my mind. One of the things to be understood here is that every experience of mine is just that, MY EXPERIENCE. It does not constitute the experience of the other person and definitely not the readers because even if the experiences are similar, they are not the same. I was told my my spirit guides that the right relationship should be easy. I am sure easy is a difficult word because relationships and easy are not supposed to go together. We have all been told that relationships is hard work. Now, is this really true? When we are trying to make a relationship work, are we really working on a good relationship or are we trying desperately to make something fit our mold? I know of a friend who is trying to make this relationship with this man work. He lives out of the country and comes in town maybe for 3 weeks every 4 months. During this time he is busy with other work and will go out of town with his friends. If fact he is going to a out of town event with his friends and she is going on her own, staying by herself at the event. I wonder how easy this is and does it really sound like a good relationship or something she wants to make work maybe because she feels like this may be her last chance. I am not sure of her motivation but she also has been praying to the lord to make this thing work. My sense of the lord is that he will give you things that you are supposed to have not the things you necessarily want. In my case this understanding came to me at quite a late date in my life but it did come to me nevertheless. Now about relationships being easy. If one really thinks of it, if both are in sync and have a genuine interest in each other, thinks just fit into themselves. I do not mean that there will not be a learning curve, but what I mean is that the understanding of things will not be as difficult and there is no need to hold on to things out of desperation either. It is a situation where they are separate but one and there is no desperation to mold things or compromise and compromise till one is lost to the point that he/she does not know why they are. I know one thing, right now I am not in a relationship but the next one, I am going to be careful not to try to hold on to things out of desperation and certainly to keep my objectivity. One thing I know is that hind sight is 20/20, but post-mortems also mean that the thing is over.
