Cook Time: 12 minutes Ingredients: 1 cup soft butter or margarine 1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar 1 egg 4 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 cup sour cream Pecan halves
Preparation: Cream butter and sugar and add egg, beating until light. Add dry ingredients and sour cream. mix well. Shape into balls the size of a small walnut. Put on ungreased cookie sheets and press a pecan in center of each. Bake in preheated oven 400° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 7 dozen brown sugar cookies. Shared by Dottie
