“Redesigning” the Bear Skin Rug by Lise Lefebvre
As their Arctic habitat continues to collapse, polar bear hunting isn’t exactly a sport that’s on the up and up. Animal themed decor, however, continues to be a hot trend in the interior design community. So, how do you get your hands on a bear skin rug without contributing to the extinction of bear populations? French designer Lise Lefebvre has come up with a twist on the bear skin rug that even the staunchest PETA supporter couldn’t complain about. Lipla Double Bed
Lipla is a low queen sized bed designed by Jean-Marie Massaud. This bed is composed of a number of perfectly integrated elements. The mattress rests on a wooden frame. An upholstered structure with a headboard ‘encircles’ the mattress. Dream Apartment in Sweden. Ready For Some Great Interior Design?

KICKIT – Kick Your Shoes in a Different “Shoe Rack”
 To all those that always seem to be in a hurry when taking the shoes off we have a solution. KICKIT is not a classic shoe rack, but actually a piece of furniture, a lighting device, a seating place and a sculpture, all at the same time. It’s not the light emitted from behind the bristles from two 28W fluorescent tubes that amazes me, but actually the fact that you can “throw in” whatever shoes you may think of, and actually make it look cool.
