Luxury Reinvented : Micheli Residence in Florence
Here is a home full of light, color and life. The Micheli Residence comes from Italian architect Simone Micheli and was built for the artists family. Located in a beautiful part of Florence, you are looking at a home which does not involve only a fabulous design. The architect meant to transform a regular living space into one that would reflect the creators architectural focus: Ethical Luxury. Here is more information on the concept from Simone Micheli:
the new luxury does not mean immobility or habit, but rather freedom and movement. It is a light and stirring thought, at any moment we are able to choose where and how to live and to reinvent the environment we live in. Upholstered Bathtub: Comfortably Glamorous
An interior doesnt necessarily have to be expensive in order to be glamorous. It takes small inspired details to turn a relatively plain interior into one that inspires a certain style or even luxury. This upholstered bathtub was created by Italian designer Anika Elisabetta Luceri who anticipated the effect an upholstered exterior might have. The tub looks cozy and unusually inviting. Another ingenious approach was upholstering a tub that doesnt have straight lines, but two round corners as well. This led to a plus of originality and to an interesting overall shape. The great thing about the design is the fact that it goes well in a minimalist decor as well as in a luxuriously decorated one.

Star Wars Wampa Rug : Spooky or Collectable?
For those of you mad Star War fans out there, heres a treat. For the less familiar with the series, Wampa were the spooky reptomammals -white fur, three meters tall- from planet Hoth. The ice creature was captured in all its glory, including its sharp teeth and claws. This is a fun and interesting carpet to have around, especially in the childrens room. Still, we think some Star Wars fans will have trouble adjusting this carpet to their modern furniture. An issue may also turn out to be its white color, but perhaps the manufacturers will think of some efficient maintenance ideas. Diverse Interior Design in a 7 Room Apartment
The apartment in the images blow is simply huge. Now we dont usually present this type of flats on Freshome, because we took in consideration our readers need for affordable living ideas. However, this time we decided to make an exception because we think this place has a lot to offer in matters of inspiring decorating ideas. Just imagine there are three or four apartments in there connected together. We noticed a general tendency to large rooms with many windows which let in lot of natural light. Although many modern elements are present, there are also items which expose a classic approach as well: curtains, rugs, wooden furniture, stylish armchairs.
