Have you all heard of a movie called "POSEIDON"? It is a remake movie by director Wolfgang Petersen that was actually adapted from the 70s movie "THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE". This movie will be release in cinemas & IMAX theatres next Thursday in Singapore and I'm looking forward to watch it, be it anywhere... cinema or IMAX theatre. *My dad watched it when he was young & he said it's a superb movie... far better than Titanic!*
The storyline is rather similar to the original movie itself. It's New Year eve and party began aboard the luxury cruise ship which is out at sea in the North Atlantic. Just as they are about to celebrate the arrival of the New Year, the First Officer sees a "Rogue Wave"(a monstrous wall of water over one hundred feet high) which is coming down on the cruise ship at a tremendous speed. Unable to avoid the disaster, the cruise ship capsized. Now it's time for a group of strangers to join alliance and fight their way out of the sinking cruise ship for survivor...
