Issue : welfare of the nation

Finally, I write more GMAT essay..
this one is tough.. i am not sure what is general welfare is....
.

The desire of corporations to maximize profits creates conflict with the general welfare of the nation at large.

The issue is that the desire of corporations to maximize profits builds conflict with the general welfare of the nation at large. Clearly, the intention of the enterprise would like to make the most profit as much as possible, and in some cases the companies may try to create demand of people in order to attract them to buy their products. However, I do not agree that the mission of the corporation creates conflict with the general welfare of the nation at large. There are some factors that construct the conflict.

Firstly, the economics of the country is one of the factors reflect to general welfare of the nation. For example, some developing countries, which their economics are not stable and has no much reserve money, they want to booth their economics and use money in other factors besides welfare of people. Thus, the welfare of people may not excellent compare to the developed countries, which they have sufficient money to many objective including welfare system. In developing countries may do not have social securities. Although both developed and developing countries have many corporations in the same mission.

Secondly, the conflicts of the general welfare are also relying on the governments of the country. If the governments believe that the basic needs of people in the nations are important, they must provide law and regulation to support quality of life of people in their countries. For instance, some countries, people do not need to pay for the hospital when they need doctor. Some countries, like China, people still need to pay the remedy cost by themselves. So, many people cannot reach the doctors because of no enough money.

Thirdly, in terms of poverty and rich of people, individuals who have a lot of money can create enough quality of life. However, people who have no enough money , their mission is only to have sufficient money for eating. They may not consider education, good hospital as the main factors in life.

In conclusion, although many corporations may want to sell something and attempt to create demand of customers, it is incorrect to blame on the corporation in that the mission to maximize profit creates conflict with the general welfare of the nations at large. Many factors regarding to economic development, government management, and poverty......
