ใช้บัตรเครดิตอย่างไร ไม่ให้เดือดร้อน

การใช้บัตรเครดิตในประเทศไทยได้แพร่หลายและเติบโตอย่างรวดเร็วมากที่ในปีนี้ คาดว่าจะมีบัตรเครดิตใช้กันอยู่ประมาณ 12-14 ล้านบัตร และในอนาคตก็จะเพิ่มบัตรเครดิตสำหรับเกษตรกร และบัตรเครดิตน้ำมันสำหรับแท็กซี่ และรถจักรยานยนต์ ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่ดีที่ประชาชนสามารถเข้าถึงสินเชื่อได้และสามารถใช้สินเชื่อ ดังกล่าวอย่างถูกต้องและมีประสิทธิภาพ ประสิทธิภาพหมายถึงการที่ใช้เครดิตเพื่อสร้างรายได้ให้งอกเงย เช่นนำไป ซื้อปุ๋ย เมล็ดพันธุ์ หรือปัจจัยการผลิตอื่น ๆมาเพื่อทำการผลิตและเมื่อขายผลิตได้ก็มีเงินชำระคืนสินเชื่อที่ใช้ผ่านบัตร เครดิตเหล่านั้น แต่ถ้าหากนำไปใช้ในการบริโภคที่ใช้แล้วหมดไป บัตรเครดิตเหล่านั้นก็จะนำความเดือดร้อนของผู้ถือบัตรได้ ตามที่ปรากฏเป็นข่าวอยู่เสมอซึ่ง ผู้ถือบัตรเครดิตพึงระลึกอยู่เสมอว่าการใช้จ่ายผ่านบัตรเครดิตนั้นเป็นการ เอาเงินในอนาคตมาใช้ในปัจจุบัน ซึ่งในที่สุดแล้วจะต้องชำระคืนหนี้เมื่อครบกำหนด

หนึ่ง ไม่ควรจะถือบัตรเครดิตมากกว่า 2 ใบ จาก กรณีศึกษาปัญหาหนี้สินของประเทศเกาหลีใต้และหลาย ๆ ประเทศพบว่าผู้ที่มีบัตรเครดิตมากกว่า 4 ใบขึ้นไปจะมีแนวโน้มเกิดปัญหาหนี้ ทั้งนี้เพราะการมีบัตรเครดิตจำนวนมากก็จูงใจให้เกิดการใช้จ่ายที่เกินตัว สำหรับผู้ที่ไม่มีวินัยทางการเงินที่มีความอยากได้สินค้าที่มากเกินกว่าราย ได้ของตนเองและทำให้มีปัญหาหนี้สิน ดังนั้นจึงไม่ควรที่จะสมัครบัตรเครดิตต่าง ๆ จำนวนมาก แม้ว่าจะได้รับข้อเสนอจากสถาบันการเงินหรือห้างร้านทั้งหลายที่มีการเชิญชวน เป็นสมาชิกบัตรด้วยเงื่อนไขที่ผ่อนปรน

สอง แม้ว่าจะมีบัตรเครดิตมากกว่าจำนวนหนึ่งใบแต่ก็ควรจะพกพาบัตรเครดิตไว้เพียงครั้งละใบ สำหรับการใช้ที่จำเป็นเท่านั้น เพราะ การพกพาบัตรเครดิตหลายใบหากเกิดการสูญหาย ก็จะเป็นความเดือดร้อนในการแจ้งอายัดบัตร หรือต้องรับผิดชอบต่อบัตรที่ถูกแอบอ้างนำไปใช้


สาม การ ใช้จ่ายบัตรเครดิตทุกครั้งควรที่จะกันสำรองด้วยการหักเงินสดไว้ทุกครั้ง เพื่อไม่ให้เกิดปัญหาไม่สามารถชำระคืนหนี้ได้เมื่อครบกำหนดถูกเรียกเก็บเงิน ถ้าหากจะให้ดีแล้วควรที่จะมีการลงบันทึกรายจ่ายบัตรเครดิตเป็นรายสัปดาห์และ รายเดือนด้วยเพื่อเป็นการเตือนให้รู้ว่าการใช้จ่ายนั้นเกินรายได้ที่มีอยู่ หรือเปล่า เป็นลักษณะเดียวกันกับการทำบัญชีบันทึกค่าใช้จ่ายรายเดือน

สี่ การถือเงินสดจำนวนหนึ่งสำหรับการใช้จ่าย เพราะการใช้จ่ายด้วยเงินสดก็จะเป็นการเตือนตนเองถึงเงินที่มีอยู่จริง เพราะ การมีบัตรเครดิตจะทำให้คนเรามีความรู้สึกว่ายังมีเงิน (สด)อยู่ จึงจูงใจให้มีการใช้จ่ายและก็มีผลการศึกษาของผู้บริโภคชาวอเมริกันที่พบว่า ผู้ที่ถือบัตรเครดิตมีแนวโน้มใช้จ่ายเพิ่มขึ้นประมาณ 12-18%

ห้า หลีกเลี่ยงการประวิงระยะเวลาของการชำระเงินของบัตรเครดิตออกไป เพราะเมื่อไรที่เริ่มไม่ชำระเงินบัตรเครดิตเต็มจำนวน แต่ชำระคืนเพียงเงินขั้นต่ำที่ต้องชำระแล้ว เป็นสัญญาณเริ่มต้นของการมีปัญหาแล้วที่จะต้องเร่งแก้ไขโดยด่วน

หก ห้ามโดยเด็ดขาดในการเบิกเงินสดจากบัตรเครดิตเพื่อไปชำระหนี้บัตรเครดิตที่ครบกำหนด เพราะ เริ่มกระบวนการของแชร์ลูกโซ่ของวงจรหนี้ เพราะการเบิกเงินสดจากบัตรเครดิตจะต้องเสียดอกเบี้ยในอัตราที่สูงถึงประมาณ ร้อยละ 20 หากเกิดปัญหาควรเลิกใช้บัตรเครดิตและขอเจรจาประนอมหนี้หรือการผ่อนชำระคืน สำหรับบัตรเครดิตเหล่านั้นโดยทันที ซึ่งหมายถึงการต้องมีแผนบริหารจัดการเงิน ที่จะต้องลดค่าใช้จ่ายลงมา ฟังดูแล้วคล้าย ๆ กับการแก้ไขปัญหาหนี้ของหลาย ๆ ประเทศที่เกิดขึ้นในปัจจุบัน และหากปฏิบัติได้ท่านก็จะเป็นผู้ที่ใช้บัตรเครดิตอย่างผู้ที่มีเครดิตค่ะ.
