Another Blissful Location for Yoga Class in Luang Prabang
Last month, I had been invited by General Manager of Chanthavinh Resort & Spa to visit the place. He was seeking for activities to served guests while staying in the resort. Yoga is one of them.
It was tranquil and peaceful place for relaxing doing nothing by the Mekhong River.
Have some touching feeling from photos.
The Pier of Chanthavinh Resort and Spa reach there only 5 minutes to be at Bann Chan Village from Luang Prabang side.
Large Garden surrounded by native plants and flowers.
A garden under big trees beside Mekhong River soothing with breeze.
Vegetarian dish with fresh tasty vegetables grow in the resort organic garden.
There are choices to set up the Yoga & Meditation Class. In the conference room with wooden floor.
Outdoor locations in any garden you like.
Or if you always practice Yoga on your own, the Chanthavinh Resort and Spa is also a good choice to accommodate. Recommend to settle yourself as the first day/night of relaxing during your long trip then explore Luang Prabang in the following days by staying in the old quater.

When it is in Raining season or when the weather is too cold, we could practice in the studio.
Meena said After I had experienced Yoga practice since recovering from a period of illness, I realized that my health is better, my body is more flexible, and stronger with more energy. Besides of practicing several types of Yoga, I continue practicing Yoga as Meditation.

She has her first book published in Thailand on January 2009. It is called From Chaotic Running to Peaceful Walking and is written about her cancer treatment, surgery & chemotherapy, and how she changed her life from a busy marketing communications manager in large firm in Bangkok to become a Yoga Teacher/Reiki master, living in Luang Prabang. Meena is a pescetarian who keen on cooking an anti-cancer diet. She always cooks with less oil, low salt, and certainly no MSG. She has created Lao, Thai, Indian, Chinese recipes for a healthy vegetarian diet. She has been living the Wellness Lifestyle in her little villa near the Mekong River, in Luang Prabang, World Heritage Town since July 2006.
In August 2008, Meena started volunteer work to teach basic yoga postures and meditation to teenagers at Childrens Cultural Center, Luang Prabang (CCC). Meena welcomes donations to support her volunteer work such as yoga mats (10 US$ per unit) to be used at CCC for next year.
Teenagers at the Luang Prabang CCC practice Yoga postures. In 2009, it was no Yoga mat available so we do practice mostly standing postures and only some sitting postures.
