ชื่ออาหารไทยในภาษาอังกฤษส่วนใหญ่ไม่ใช่ชื่ออาหารโดยตรง แต่เป็นการแปลลักษณะอาหารมากกว่า

อย่างเช่นพะแนงไก่ " savory curry with chicken" ถ้ามีคนเดินมาสั่งแบบนั้นกับเราก็คงงงเหมือนกันใช่ไหมค่ะ

ส่วนใหญ่บีจะบอกชื่ออาหารเป็นชื่อไทยแล้วอธิบายลักษณะอาหารเอา หวังว่าคงมีประโยชน์บ้างนะค่ะ
