A fucking damn New Year 2008!
Visiting around all my friends blogs makes me envious of them because I conversely subjected to the worst experience again. My fellowships might have known that prior to going to do a volunteer job in New Orleans my laptop was damaged by the fucking shit water dripped from the room nearby my bed. This forces me to buy a new laptop to complete my dissertation.
After completion of physical work in New Orleans, I went to visit my bloggangs friends in Florida, namely PO, and stopped by at Tucson, Arizona, which is not too far from Grand Canyon. I then rented a car from Enterprise Company in Tucson and drove to Phoenix to visit another bloggangs friend, namely PPAT. She and her husband including their son granted me a warm reception providing me an accommodation and luxurious dishes. I stopped by there for a night before directly driving to Sedona and Grand Canyon.
The worst experience occurred when I arrived at Grand Canyon. It was a car key which was accidentally dropped and thus I cannot find where it was. More than three hours of my attempt to find it, I failed. Many visitors granted me their generosities to search it, but we failed. As a result I called the Enterprise assistance to help. It falsely informed me that AAAs would help me by breaking down the door and giving me a new key. It is completely wrong.
AAAs cannot do anything more than open the car and if I am lucky enough to have a spare key, it will work. However, in case the key is completely missing, only the car dealer will be capable of solving this problem. This misunderstood information forced me to stay in Grand Canyon another night and the problem was never solved.
On the next day, the new suggestions came to me by the new representatives of Enterprise. It said that my car must be towed with a price of $300 to the dealer in Flagstaff the closet Dodge dealer in this area so that the new key - $250 can be made. However, it is not that easy because every Tow company and Dodge dealer will be closed for the New Year holiday. My rented car was thus not be towed in time. The Enterprise assistance recommended me that I should go directly to Dodge dealer in Flagstaff to get a new key and drive to home.
More carefully, I called Diamond Dodge to confirm if they can make a new key without a car towed to them. The answer is positive and then I ride the bus of Open Tour, $27, to Flagstaff but unfortunately the machine to remotely open the door was broken. The worsen case, even though the machine can operate, and they give me a new car, it will not work either. The current car needs to be computerized simultaneously with the car and remote control key. Other wise, the engine will operate only 10 seconds and the car will be broken down forever.
I called the Enterprise in Tucson 7 hours of driving from Grand Canyon to Tucson to ask them if they have another key. This resolution sounds the best in that time but even though they do have another key, I have to come to pick it up before 5 p.m., which is impossible. I asked my friend to call someone in town and pick the key for me which seems the last method that I can get off the hook.
Fortunately, some students in U of Arizona can do it for me. I decided to rent a new car and drove from Flagstaff to Tucson instantly. Basically, it needs around 4 hours more or less for driving back but I arrived at Tucson in less then 3 hours. After having a key, I instantly drove a car back to Grand Canyon. I believed that there were some defects to my brain function; it made me lost during driving back. Around 2 a.m. of the New Year day, I arrived at there.
The price of this trip came up with my arms and legs, that includes the rental price, gas, new car key. With the exhausted position, I became sick after everything is done. However, I have not subjected to any harm. This event makes me think and perform more carefully, I guess. I do not want to pay my limited money with something a fucking duck nonsense again.
