Fresco of the Deeds of the Antichrist (c.1501) in Orvieto Cathedral

เป็นจิตรกรสมัยเรอเนซองส์คนสำคัญของประเทศอิตาลีในคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 15 ถึง 16 เป็นช่างร่าง ผู้มีความเชี่ยวชาญทางการเขียนจิตรกรรมฝาผนัง โดยเฉพาะการเขียนแบบลวงตาที่ทำให้ดูภาพลึกกว่าความเป็นจริง (foreshortening) ที่ใช้ในงานเขียนชิ้นเอก “การตัดสินครั้งสุดท้าย” (Last Judgment) ที่เขียนระหว่างปี ค.ศ. 1499 ถึงปี ค.ศ. 1503 ภายในชาเปลทางด้านเหนือของบริเวณใกล้แท่นบูชาที่มหาวิหารออร์เวียตโต ในประเทศอิตาลี

ชีวิตและงาน
ลูคา ซินยอเรลลิเกิดที่คอร์โทนาในแคว้นทัสเคนี บางครั้งจึงเป็นที่รู้จักกันว่า “ลูคา แห่งคอร์โทนา” ปีเกิดที่แน่นอนไม่เป็นที่ทราบ ปีเกิดระหว่าง ค.ศ. 1441 ถึง ค.ศ. 1445 เป็นปีสันนิษฐาน ลูคาเสียชึวิตเมื่อวันที่ 16 ตุลาคม ค.ศ. 1523 เมื่ออายุราว 82 ปีที่คอร์โทนาที่เป็นที่ฝัง งานของลูคาถือว่าเป็นงานตระกูลเขียนแบบทัสเคนี แต่ตามความเป็นจริงลูคา มีงานเขียนมากมายที่แคว้นอื่นด้วยเช่นที่แคว้นอุมเบรีย และกรุงโรม
