Raise Your Voice หนังวัยรุ่นแนวดราม่าโรแมนติกปี 2005 ที่เดินเรื่องเกี่ยวกับสาวน้อยTeresa 'Terri' Fletcher ที่แม้จะเติบโตมาจากเมืองเล็กๆแต่เธอเปี่ยมไปด้วยพรสวรรค์ทางการขับร้อง Terri ตั้งใจที่เข้าร่วมโครงการดนตรีภาคฤดูร้อนของสถาบันดนตรีที่มีชื่อเสียงใน Los Angeles แต่พ่อของเธอกลับไม่เห็นด้วยกับการเข้าร่วมโครงการครั้งนี้เพราะเขากลัวว่า การสูญเสียครั้งใหญ่ที่เกิดขึ้นกับครอบครัวจะเกิดขึ้นอีกครั้ง แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม ด้วนความช่วยเหลือของแม่ และน้าสาว ทำให้ Terri มีโอกาสครั้งสำคัญในชีวิตที่เข้าไปเรียนดนตรีในระดับสูง

Hilary Duff ในบทสาวน้อยเสียงใส Terri หรือ Teresa Fletcher สามารถทำให้คนดูเชื่อในตัวละครของเธอ ถึงความ น่ารัก ใสซื่อ บริสุทธิ์ และมีพรสวรรค์ ในขณะเดียวกัน ตัวละครของเธอยังสื่อได้ดีถึงความเป็นวัยรุ่นละอ่อนแรกสาวที่มักจะมีเรื่องรักมาทำให้ว้าวุ่นใจ และที่สำคัญ Duff สามารถแสดงบทนี้ได้อย่างเป็นธรรมชาติ ดูสบายตาเมื่อเทียบกับอายุและประสบการณ์ทางการแสดงของเธอ ส่วนตัวละครอื่นๆ แม้จะไม่โดดเด่น แต่ก็เล่นได้ไม่ขัดตา แต่ที่ดูจะโดดเด่นถือว่าเป็นตัวเอกของเรื่องเหมือนกันก็คือการแสดงครั้งสุด ท้ายของ Terri ในเพลง Someone's Watching Over Me ที่มีความหมายกินใจเข้ากับเนื้อเรื่องได้ดี แถมดนตรียังสะดุดหู เมื่อบวกกับเสียงหวานๆของ Duff แล้ว ทำให้ต้องเก็บเพลงนี้ไว้เป็น “เพลงโปรด” อีกเพลงนึง
