Before you start, rewind ball of D.K. into 2
Cast on 16/24 sts with DK Change to Foxy: Knit one row. Next row: Increase in every stitch (32/48 sts) Knit 2 more rows.
Next row: Knit 6/10 sts in D.K.; Knit 20/28 sts in Foxy, Knit 6/10 sts in D.K. (using separate ball of D.K.) Repeat last row 21/29 more times (22/30 rows) Next row : Knit 2 together, repeat to end (16/24 sts)
For small hedgehog only: Using D.K. Knit 6 rows in stocking stitch starting with a knit row Next row: Knit 2 together; repeat to end (8sts)
For LARGE hedgehog only: Using D.K. Knit 8 rows Next row: Knit 2 together; repeat to end (12 sts) Next row: Knit 2 together; repeat to end (6 sts)
Both Sizes: Break off yarn, thread through remaining sts, draw up and secure.
To make up:
