Consumption of vinegar with free mineral acid (fake vinegar) is health hazard. According to the Ministry of Public Healths Act No.204 (B.E.2543), vinegar must contain no free mineral acid. Testing of vinegar sample in laboratory takes time. The Department of Medical Sciences has developed kit for consumers to test free mineral acid, with fast and reliable result.

Procedure
1. Pour 5 ml. of vinegar into plastic cup.
2. Add small amount of free mineral acid powder into plastic cup and shake until dissolve.
Evaluation
If liquid in cup is purple, such sample is real vinegar (consumable) If liquid in cup is blue or green, such sample is fake vinegar (unable to consume)
Precaution
Vinegar sample is acidity, when contacts skin, wash with water and soap. Keep at room temperature / 2 years
