Miss Colombia Earth 2008
Muzo, COLOMBIA - Mariana Rodríguez Merchán, Miss Valle del Cauca, left behind other 15 contesntants to be crowned Miss Colombia Earth 2008. The pageant was part of the Annual Emerald Festival, which took place in the city of Muzo, Colombia.
The winner is a 20-year-old Marketing student who is 1.80-m-tall, has dark brown hair and green eyes.
Venezuela's Alexandra Braun Waldeck, Miss Earth 2005, was one of the judges.
Mariana will now get ready to compete in Miss Earth 2008, in the Philippines, on November 9. Miss Earth is one of the 5 most important beauty contests in the world today.
