Miss Switzerland 2008
Lugano, SWITZERLAND - The new Miss Switzerland is 18-year old Whitney Toyloy of Yverdon, a city located in the French-speaking portion of Switzerland.
Whitney, who is the daughter of an American father, stands 177 cm and will represent Switzerland in Miss Universe 2009. Switzerland has stopped sending representatives to Miss World in 2005, and it's unknown if the Alpine country will return to it in 2008.
The 1st RU was Rekha Datta of Zürich, and 2nd RU was Lisa Panigada.
Also in the Top 6 were: Emilie Lindblom, Dominique Knill , and Alessia Novak. Miss Congeniality was Alessia Novak, and Miss Photogenic was Whitney Toyloy, the eventual winner.
