MISS AUSTRALIA WINS FIRST TITLE OF 'MISS LEISURE'
26/7 - The first edition of the Miss Leisure pageant took place tonight in Suzhou, China. The winner was Miss Australia, Allina Leal. Runner-ups included Miss Korea, Park Hyeon Jung, Miss Finland, Mariel Anniina, Miss Venezuela, Andrea Rivas and Miss China, Ren Ting.
Venezuela (4th ru), Korea (1st ru), Miss Leisure 2008 from Australia,
Finland (2nd ru) and China (3rd ru)
Semi-finalists came from Canada, Ecuador, Zambia, Philippines and Singapore.
76 international beauties compete for the crown and a USD 10.000 cash prize. The main objective of the beauty pageant is to develop the infrastructure of tourism in Suzhou, China, as well as strengthening the friendly and cultural ties between the participating countries from different corners of the world to Suzhou and also in support of the program of development of tourism in this city.
