We started our journey at 8:30 to "Doi PhaThaung" at 10:30
First moment was very nice that every kids ran to be around us and our chickens.
Then Uni & Maribel started playing game and teach English by songs,
Chris told a story of the creator and I concluded the story with quiz & prizes.
We took a lunch break...followed by cartoon...art project...play ball...volleyball.
At dinner, we invited kids' parents to join..there are about 25 kids, 6-7 parents inside
and 4-5 people were watching outside.
< Pastor Somkid said they came to church every Sunday when they were young
'til teenager they turn to drugs so they feel guilty to come to the church>
After dinner, ArjarnTawatchai taught kids & parents bible with cartoon and
small kids were with me doing art project then closed the day with snacks.
Then I just known that we should take a bath before getting dark because
there aren't electricity in the bathroom,
and fans & windows in the church need to be fixed,
Pastor Somkid cooks rice, fried vegetable, soup even boil water in the same old rice cooker.
Next morning we sat down to pray and encourage Pastor Somkid.
This church was built 20 years ago with only one family member.
Last pastor moved to another church so asked him to help here 8 years ago.
Actually he & his wife invested in water drinking business but he fail,
this caused his wife left with a new husband 4 years ago.
So he moved to live in this church with his son,
but now he let his son lives with his wife for better quality of life.
About 2 houses that World Vision built, he said
Office of the Non-Formal Education is in the process of developing these houses
to be a non-formal school.
I think that will be very great for children here.
