10 things i love About a Boy

1. The Big Boy - Hugh Grant



คนโปรดของเรา เล่นเป็น Will ชอบหนังที่เค้าเล่นซะเกือบครึ่ง (Love Actually, Micky Blue Eyes, Notting Hills, Nine Months, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Sense and Sensibility, etc) ถึงเกือบทั้งหมดจะเป็นหนังตลก หรือดราม่าตลก ตลกดราม่า แล้วแต่จะเรียก แต่เค้าก็ดูจะเหมาะสุดแล้วกับหนังแบบนี้ นึกไม่ออกถ้าเค้าไปเล่นหนังแบบ X-men หรือ The Matrix จะเป็นไง

2. Marcus ชื่อจริงเด็กนี่ชื่อ Nicholas Hoult ไม่เคยเห็นในหนังเรื่องไหนมาก่อน (หมายถึงที่เราเคยดูน่ะ) แต่เด็กไร หน้าใสปิ๊ง เสียงเหมือนผู้หญิงเลย (เป็น...เปล่าน้อง หน้าให้มาก) เค้าจะคิดอะไรแปลก ๆ ในหัวได้ตลอดเวลา (ในหนัง) น่ารักดี



3. "..Struming my pain with his fingers...Singing my life with his words" ชอบมากตอนที่ Marcus ร้องเพลง Killing Me Softly กับ Will บนเวที แต่ก่อนเบื่อเพลงนี้มาก เพราะดูโบ แต่พอเด็กนี่ร้อง ก็เออ เพราะดีเหมือนกันแฮะ



4. The Plot - หนังที่บทดี ก็เหมือนได้แผนที่ดี เดินไปถึงก่อนแล้วครึ่งทาง หนังได้เข้าชิงออสการ์สาขา Best Adapted Screenplay ด้วย แต่ก็ชวด

5. The Soundtracks - ชอบเกือบทุกเพลงเลย โดยเฉพาะ Silent Sigh ผลิตโดย Badly Drawn Boy



5. Nick Hornby นักเขียนคนโปรด เรียกงี้ได้แล้วมั้ง เพราะทั้งเรื่องนี้และเรื่อง High Fidelity เป็นเรื่องโปรดของเราทั้งคู่ High Fidelity เราซื้อหนังสือไว้แล้ว (ไปเจอโดยบังเอิญที่เจเจ รีบโดดคว้าหมับ) รอจังหวะอ่านอยู่



รวมทั้งหนังสือใหม่ของเค้า A Long Way Down อันนี้รอมีตังค์ กะลังจนกรอบ

6. ........อะไรหว่า เฮ้ย ไม่ถึง 10 อะ (แอบหลอกให้อ่าน) แต่แค่ 5 ก็ชอบหนังเรื่องนี้จะแย่แล้นนน

About A Boy เป็นหนังที่เราดูได้หลายรอบ บางทีคนเราก็พอใจกับอะไรเดิม ๆ หยิบมาดูอีกทีเมื่อคืน ก็ยังรู้สึกเหมือนเดิม

Will: In my opinion, all men are islands. And what's more, now's the time to be one. This is an island age.



Christine: Oh, no... it's just I thought you had hidden depths.
Will: No, no, you've always had that wrong about me. I really am this shallow.



Marcus: Suddenly I realized - two people isn't enough. You need backup. If you're only two people, and someone drops off the edge, then you're on your own. Two isn't a large enough number. You need three at least.



Will: My life is made up of units of time. Buying CDs - two units. Eating lunch - three units. Exercising - two units. All in all, I had a very full life. It's just that it didn't mean anything.



Will: [thinking] Every man is an island. I stand by that. But clearly some men are island CHAINS. Underneath, they are connected...

Marcus: [thinking] I used to think two was not enough. But now things are great; there are loads of people... I don't know what Will was so pissed about. I don't think couples are the future. The way I see it now, we both got back-up now. It's like that thing John Bon Jovi said: 'No man is an island.'
