Shepherd's Pie
Got really sick from infected tonsil. I'll be bleeding if I speak so decided to rest at home and see no one for the whole weekend.
I've had so many dishes in mind, shall start with Shepherd's Pie.
Ingredients:
Butter
Mashed Potato
Chopped Carrot
Green Pea
Chopped Onion
Ground Beef
Sauté onion in butter until tender over medium heat
Add ground beef and sauté until no longer pink.
Add carrot and pea.
Seasoning with salt, pepper, and worcesterchire sauce. Add beef broth and cook.
Place beef and onion in baking dish.
Distribute mashed potatoes on top. Rough up with a fork so that there are peaks that will brown nicely.
** Instant mashed potato is okay to use(Hungry Jack is my fav) but I got plenty of time this weekend so I made it from scratch.**
Bake in 375-400 degree F oven until bubbling and brown (about 30 minutes).
Tadah!!! Freshly baked pie.
