Been to many nice restaurants lately but as usual my excuse of not writing any is to blame it on work folks.

Last restaurant review was about Italian restaurant nearby my office. Hope you guys aren’t bored of Italian cuisine because today’s review is another nearby office Italian restaurant. Actually it’s just across the street, super close eh?

Tah dah!!!

If you are familiar with Wattana Academy, you might have seen this cozy house in the middle of tall buildings in Asoke area. It’s just right on the corner of Sukhumvit 21 Soi 3, opposite Ocean Tower 2.

Rossano’s is the name of it. They have picked an old abandoned house and renovate it few years ago into a nice Italian restaurant. (From the myth I’ve heard, sorry can’t find any other official source.)

The thing I like the most is the color they used. It made you feel like you are in an old friend house kind of warmness.

Because the house is quite big enough so all the tables are arranged well, not too close and not too far.

For those who want more privacy you can ask for a room upstairs.

And if you feel lonely from choosing to be private you can peek out from this window.

Rossano’s serves authentic Italian dishes so it’s quite pricy but don’t worry I’ve a way out for you. They have a very reasonable lunch set every day only B320++ (appetizer, main course, coffee or tea) or B390++ (appetizer, main course, dessert, coffee or tea).

For this month only, we’ve been there 3 times already. If this frequency can’t prove how good the food is then I don’t know what else I can convince you!!

While you are studying their menu, the waitress will bring you a tiny bruschetta to make your mouth watered and can’t resist trying.

Right after you placed order they will bring this basket full of bread.

Please bear in mind that this is quite a pricy restaurant. So if you don’t want to feel being ripped off DON’T order any soda either regular or diet. Stick with the free water they serve. (Soda costs B100 a can!!!)

There’re more than 10 dishes you can chose for appetizers. But our favorite of all time are:

Capresse Salad (Did I spell it correctly? Hmmm mai roo)

Parma Ham with Melon

Cold Cut Veal in Basil Sauce

Time for main course, also many dishes you can enjoy. Here’re some I’d recommend:

For beef lover please try their Steak (If you can handle a bit bloody meat, please ask for medium rare. It’s very tender!!)
