Call of Duty is back and better than ever. I got into CoD when MW2 came out and I praised it. It stole me away from MoH with better aspects of a shooter you can think of. Black Ops was good, but not great and this is nothing short of perfect, this game takes you to heights and depths only CoD can do. The Campaign as usual, you play as different people throughout the story progression with various tasks and missions to complete. And the multiplayer is an absolute improvement on an already great selection, with new leveling up systems such as The player's primary weapon will level up alongside the player, and unlock a number of Proficiency perks such as Kick (less recoil while aiming) and Focus (stay focused under fire). Only one Proficiency can be put on each weapon. Last but not least: Prestige Shop I don't know much about since I haven't prestiged yet, in the game it shows something about tokens and double xp and some other things. New modes such as Kill Confirmed, Team Defender, Drop Zone(player must hold a drop zone for points and care packages),they even improved on the killstreaks system they`re divided into 3 Strike packages: Support, Assault and Specialist. The Specialist Strike Package doesn't have any killstreaks, but lets you choose 3 additional perks until you have them all equipped , The Support Strike Package you can actually die without having your streak reset and you're all about strengthening your team with Ballistic Vests and so on. The Assault Strike Package is the typical system you're used to. The Perks are great too some are new and some are returning even with some sleight changes but I can't wait to try them all, I will surely miss Commando, but let's not focus on minor flaws. I will definitely recommend this to anybody who's looking for a 1st person shooter. I can clearly see why this is once again the most anticipated game of the year, because its bite is as powerful as it bark. By the way, The Hardened Edition is well worth the $40 surcharge. Considering all the extra material it comes with year-long subscription to CoD Elite which alone costs $50 yearly, Exclusive PSN animated timeline theme,Limited Edition Field Journal plus more.
