The Tai Khampti Development Society is a non-political organization established in the year 2007 for the development of the Tai Khampti people of Arunachal Pradesh (India). The Office of the Tai Khampti Development society is situated at Namsai township with branch offices at Chongkham, Lathao, Piyong and Lekang in Lohit district.

Aims & Objectives of the Society:
1. To organize annual festival of the Tai-Khampti people in Namsai-Chongkham area in rotation.
2. To provide helping hand to the premier organization of the society i.e "Tai Khampti Singpho Council".
3. To provide a common platform for the Tai Khampti people for preservation, protection, revival, promotion and development of age old culture, tradition, language, custom and heritages etc.
4. To promote tourism in Tai Khampti area in particular and Arunachal Pradesh in general.
5. To develop socio-economical status of the society.
6. To conduct competition among the Tai Khampti people in the field of culture, games, literary, handicraft, handlooms, etc.
7. To make documentation of the history & culture of TAI KHAMPTI people in written form.
8. To provide a venue for exhibition / sale of handicraft, handlooms, medicines, agriculture products, khampti martial arts, etc.
9. To give an opportunity for the Khampti people to know & meet each other.
10. To provide a platform for discussion of social, traditional, economical, cultural, customary problems etc.
11. To safeguard the interest of the Tai Khampti people and their rights over land and natural resources.
12. To provide a platform for exhibition of talent & knowledge of the Tai Khampti people among themselves.
13. To provide scholarship to Tai Khampti students.
14. To print the age old Tai Khampti religious books and its translation.
15. To encourage the upcoming younger generations in the field of art, culture, sports, singing, education, etc.
16. To provide a platform for the younger generation to know and learn the age old tradition, custom, language, culture, history etc.
17. To conduct food festivals.
18. To provide an opportunity to the younger generation for extending respect and regard to the elders (Kantoe Poo-mey, Pathaw).
19. To install academic excellence awards in cash to toppers in class X & XII of the community.
20. To extend financial help to the talented students of the society for higher studies by providing long term loans with low interest rate.
21. To conduct census of the Tai Khampti people.
22. To conduct Mr. & Miss Tai Khampti society.
23. To eradicate social evils.
24. To protect the unity and integrity of the society.
25. To protect and safeguard the rich flora & fauna of the area.
26. To stop infiltration of outsiders.
27. To keep vigils on the activities of the public servants.
28. To maintain peace and harmony among the people and help administration in preventing unlawful activities.
29. To protect traditional monuments, scripts, literatures etc.
30. To help the people during flood, draughts, famine, fire accidents etc.
31. To stop un-authorized settlement in Tai Khampti area by outsiders and people from other districts.
32. To check illegal issue of ST certificate to the non-khampti.
33. To check illegal migration of outsiders.
34. To conduct AIDS awareness campaign.
35. To initiate for anti drugs campaign.
36. To teach Tai Khampti Script to its members by organizing adult education training program and night schools for adults and by introducing the Tai Khampti script in schools to the younger generation.
