assassinated Presidents.
The lives and deaths of two assassinated Presidents,
Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy,
contain a number of odd similarities.
Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846;
Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Lincoln was elected President in 1860,
and Kennedy in 1960.
Both presidents were shot on a Friday,
and both were shot in the head.
After their deaths, they were succeeded by men
with the sam name: Johnson.
Lincoln's assassin, John Wilkes booth, was born in 1839, while
Kennedy's killer, Lee Harvey Oswald, was born in 1939. Both Presidents' assassins were themselves murdered before
they could stand trial.
