Episode 24: Spring Break in LA and Las Vegas

Dear everyone,
Hi all, how are you guys doing? I had very great vacation during spring break last week. My friends, Mario, Phyllece and I decided to take a vacation again after we didnt have successful trip in Miami due to the flu sickness. We took another chance this time to travel in Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
We arrived to Los Angeles on last Friday 19th at night and began our journey by going to Long Beach in the following day. I was little bit disappointed in it because it did not beautiful as I thought, and the temperature was too cold to swim. Then, we went to Hollywood area. Amazingly, I saw many Thai people and Thai restaurant living around Hollywood neighborhood, called Thai town. We also had a chance to come by Universal Studio where we had to spend the whole day because there were many interesting shows. Another reason was that the ticket was so expensive and everything was already included, so we had to spend time as much as we could to see them.
We took a break in LA by taking the bus around 6 hours to Las Vegas, the greatest casino in the world. I didnt play gambling so much because I myself know that I dont have any luck for gambling. Instead, I pretty much enjoy taking photos with the colorful sightseeing along to the strips. We spent 2 night in the very old hotel located since 1906 because we want to save the hotel cost. What had never happened to me before was occurred at first night in Las Vegas. While sleeping, I felt like someone tried to fight with me and pushed me down until I couldnt move my body and even talk. However, I tried to fight back and collected all my effort to shout out to my friend sleeping beside me. Finally, it was gone. Nevertheless, it was perhaps because I was too tired from traveling.
We came back to LA again 3 day later to check out the Disneyland, the happiest place on the earth. Like the Universal Studio, we spent a whole day there. It was very fun, but if I had to choose, I prefer to Universal Studio because the Disneyland was pretty much for children stuff. Since the public transportation in LA is not as convenient as New Yorks. We decide to rent a car on the last day because we want to visit some place that we couldnt reach by public transportation. In the last day, we visited Hollywood sign in which it was on the top of the hill. We also went to check out Beverly Hill neighborhood where many luxury houses are located. Finally, we ended our journey by visiting Santa Monica beach, the beautiful sunset place in which it was much better than Long beach we went on the first day.
I just went back to Nashville last night. It was such a long trip, especially during on the air plane with over 9 hours. I was so surprised that the airline took me to transfer at Newark, New Jersey before going back to Nashville. In another aspect, it was good for me because I could see from the west coast in LA to the east coast in New Jersey in the same day which was such a wonderful experience. Right now, my wonderful spring break was already ended, and I have to go back to school tomorrow. Hrr! why was the spring break so short like this? It is time to back to the school again!
