WIMBLEDON 2004
On my way to the Wimbledon Championships 2004.
On Wednesday, it consistently rained all day long thus no match could be progressed.
So,I decided to visit the SW19open again on the following day. (What was my 11 pounds ticket for ?? hehe)
On Thursday,I came back again and it was incredibly sunny! I saw quite a number of famous players cruising their ways to the thrid round. The picture just above is an Italian player, Francisco Schiavone (typo?)
This is a Swedish guy,Thomas Johansson.

This is one of my most favourite players, especially back in 2000, Juan Carlos Ferrero. He did struggle a lil bit before he could finish this tough 5-set match.

OMG. She's the Syberian Siren (hehe),Russian rising star, Maria Sharapova. Does she look pretty on court ? Well, you don't need to answer. :P
She easily swept through 6/4, 6/0
This is another fav player of mine, Lindsay Davenport. It was her day I gotta say. She gave her oppenent a bagel (6/0)in the first set and was just leading by 1/0 in the second before her rival retired. Lucky Davy!

Tammy also made it through 6/3 6/3. No wonder why cause she's been playing incredibly well on grass (except a couple of recent years T^T). I did watch the whole match actually and I saw Danai Udomchoke there as well.
And after the match, Tammy was so sweet having a chat with her Thai fans outside the court. And , to my lil surprise, there were lots of Thai people today coming to support Tammy, that rocks!
Tammy let me take a photo with her too but unfortunately, the guy who took a picture for me mistakenly switched to a video mode so instead of a pic, he captured a short video clip of Tammy and me. Optimistically, it's even more glamourous!. I tried to convert the clip into a picture but obviously it didn't come out that satisfactory.
That's it guys. I was so glad having a very special chance in my life to see many world class players in Wimbledon 2004. I do look forward to my next visits.
