- สิบห้านาที จะเรียกเป็น cuarto (อ่าน กั๊วร-โตะ โดยรัวลิ้นหลังพยางค์แรก **ระวังออกเสียงสลับกับ cuatro กั๊ว-โตระ ที่แปลว่า 4) และ ครึ่งชั่วโมง เรียก media เช่น
1.15 = Es la una y cuarto. 1.30 = Es la una y media. 1.45 = Son las dos menos cuarto. 3.15 = Son las tres y cuarto. 12.30 = Son las doce y media. 12.45 = Es la una menos cuarto.
- เพื่อชี้ชัดว่าเป็น a.m. หรือ p.m. ให้ใช้ de la + mañana/tarde/noche เช่น
8.10 a.m. = Son las ocho y diez de la mañana. 4.55 p.m. = Son las cinco menos cinco de la tarde. 11.30 p.m. = Son las once y media de la noche.
- เมื่อไม่มีการบอกเวลาที่แน่นอนให้ใช้ por la + mañana/tarde/noche เช่น
Trabajo por la mañana. --> I work in the morning. Conversas con nosotros por la tarde. --> You talk with us in the afternoon. Estudian por la noche. --> We study in the evening.
****ระวัง เมื่อแปลกลับเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ จะใช้คำบุพบท in เพื่อบ่งบอกเวลา เช่น I work in the morning. ถ้าแปล in ตรงตัวเป็นภาษาสเปนตรงตัวแล้วจะได้ en แต่จะใช้ en แทน por ไม่ได้ เช่น Trabajo en la mañana. -------> อันนี้ผิด

Es mediodía. --> It's noon. Es medianoche. --> It's midnight. Son las ocho en punto. --> It's eight o'clock exactly. แปดโมงตรง mañana เฉยๆ หมายถึง tomorrow
A: ¿Qué hora es? B: Es la una y media. ¿Por qué? A: Tengo que trabajar en la cafetería a las dos en punto. B: ¿Estudias por la noche? A: Sí, tengo que tomar dos exámenes mañana por la mañana. B: ¿A qué hora tomas tus exámenes? A: Tomo el examen de matemáticas a las nueve de la mañana y el examen de biología a las once.
A: What time is it? B: It's one-thirty. Why? A: I have to work in the cafeteria at two o'clock exactly. B: Do you study in the evening (tonight)? A: Yes, I have to take two exams tomorrow morning. B: What time do you take your exams? A: I take the math test at 9 a.m. and the biology test at 11.
