During the press conference of Miss Grand Thailand 2015 held at Centara World on March 23rd, Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil, president of Miss Grand International, announced that the 3rd edition of the competition will take place at the Huamark Indoor Stadium in Bangkok onSunday October 25th with the participation of more than 80 beauties from around the world.

Miss Grand International, which entered the “Grand Slam of Beauty Pageants” last year, will be telecast live on Channel 7 with a simultaneous webcast on internet.

The event had the presence of the current beauty queens Miss Grand International 2014 Lees Garcia; Miss Grand Thailand 2014 Parapadsorn “Pla” Disdamrong (Vice-Miss Supranational 2014 and Top 10 Miss Grand 2014); Miss Intercontinental 2014 winner Patharaporn Wang, and Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International winner Ploy Wutthayakorn.

Representatives for Miss Grand International, Miss Supranational, Miss Intercontinental and Miss Tourism International will be chosen.

Mr. Itsaragrisil also announced that his organization will no longer send delegates to the Miss Earth competition, following the suit of the Miss Venezuela Organization, which stated last week that they would stop sending contestants to Miss Earth because of the crisis in the country.  MGT had the rights to the Philippines-based competition in 2014.

Miss Grand Thailand 2015 will be held at the Huamark indoor stadium in Bangkok on May 12th.
