I quite understand how you feel. I'm living in America too, and have been looking for a professional job since I graduated last May. So far, I have applied for about 350 jobs and got totally 32 interviews. Think about it! How suffered I am. This week a company eventually offered me a job.
I got two Master's degree (in the US) with above 3.65 GPAs. Plus, more than 5 years experience (also in the US) with some worldwide certifications. It still took me 9 months to land for a new job.
Just don't give up and one day will be your day. In last 9 months, I mostly stayed at home doing housewife works too. If you get bored, try to work out, read more books or newspaper, watch TV, or do meditation. It helps your mind and body.

Thank you so much for your understanding, I know how it is but I couldn't stop myself from complaining about it. It took my husband 9 months to get a job, he graduated from Top 5 university in the US plus MBA.
It's just too painful to know that I could do the job easily but nobody respond to me. Especially, when some HR people contact me and told me that they will contact me back and then they just disappear it makes me mad.
Oh well, I will have to continue fighting for a job till I get one. God Bless Me Noi Na Ka. - -"
